We are working on a Blockchain project in Tanzania (East Africa) that is aimed at helping local farmers access markets and get paid directly by clients without the need for expensive banks, western union etc to their mobile phone. Any ideas on the same, questions etc will be highly appreciated.

I am very interested in Blockchain and Africa in general, and Tanzania (East Africa) in particular. Agriculture also is one of my use cases for the next future. Although I have not a proper answer for you, I am working on Blockchain solutions for Africa at a very early stage. I will let you know when I have something more particular. I also use www.[Suspicious link removed]pany.info when trying to get information for uses cases and development, or Africa.

Do you have official website or ANN thread or may be some bounty thread in your project, where i can see that information?
