Bitcoin enthusiasts are worried because the U.S. Congress might pass legislation that could stifle the free development of cryptocurrency technologies.

We are all hoping that the said legislation would not see the light of the day. We are banking on some legislators who can be more-friendly with the cryptocurrency movement. I have no problem if the purpose is to pass the necessary regulatory framework where all players should strictly follow and in return for that is the legitimization of the said platform. We also have to consider that there is really a need to weed out the scam artists from this industry so less people can be victimized by scammy schemes but regulations should not be used to stifle the said thing to be regulated...there should be a good balancing act for the whole cryptocurrency industry to make it flourish and survive into the future.
