Hey everyone. I've put together a site to try and make it easier for people to buy and sell Bitcoin. The URL is
https://www.get-bitcoin.com, and our goal is to make it easy and fast to buy and sell Bitcoin, even if you've never heard of it and just downloaded the software. Site is live and open for orders, but is still in beta, so comments/questions/bug reports much appreciated.
Our advantages over buying OTC from a random forum member:
- We're an actual company with a real physical address, so it's a much safer transaction. If we tried to rip you off, you could post a complaint to the Bitcoin forums and have it stick - and we really don't want that, since we spent a lot of time and $$ setting the site up, and we can't easily set up a new site or even move to a different domain (SSL certificates are non-movable). You can even sue us if it comes to that (we're insured).
- We have a 24-hour turnaround guarantee: we send your order within 24 hours of receiving payment or our services are free, so you'll get your Bitcoins or dollars quickly.
- You'll probably get a better rate from us than OTC, although obviously this varies a little.
- We accept many different forms of payment (nine at last count). Want a different way to pay us? Email us at
