When i say one or two man team that simply implies the founders to start with. They off course can hire and build a team post ICO. Opinions?

Why not? Smiley
The most important thing is what and how this one or two people are really doing and what is the result, progress, prospects. As you remember, Facebook was originally created by one person and many other projects also. ICO should not be a goal, but only one of the good tools for this.

It should be really narrow and specific project that doesn't require a lot of coding. And they won't do it fast. Not under a year for sure.

Absolutely yes, if the intentions and idea is good, 2 membered co-founders are enough, almost all startups and companies start with an idea by someone.

Ofcourse if the team has credibility or maybe someone as smart as vitalik
But most of us wouldn't trust a team of two to invest our money.
If your concept and idea is unique I am sure finding partners or team members would not be difficult.
and 90% ICO now a days fails and scammed.
So we have to be cautious.
By the way it would not hurt to try maybe you guys would be able to pull off with just enough money for the project.

So, it looks like its not a Big No No but a one or two member team will have lesser chances owing to lack of trust.

But we do hear and sort of believe that 90% of ICOs will fail and most of these teams that raise funds are big ones.

I guess, it would be fair to say the count of team member is in a way immaterial. Agree?

They surely can, but it'd be difficult for people to place their trust in that ICO as that won't seem possible for them to work.

It may or may not be
Here is an example: Chainlink
The team is composed of only two members but there are many freelancers working for them and also good set of experience. The team count might be low but they are very well experienced.

Prove it with your product and there will be a lot of people interesting with your project. In these days icos need a lot of money to develop the product and why are not trying to do the other wise thing. Release the useful product and then you will get a lot of investors interested with your ico to continue the development.
Because you are building from only two persons and that means it will be so difficult to gain the trust from the investors.

Another factor to consider is whether the ICO is easy enough to copy by another bigger team. If you have a good idea but only 2 people, it may be easy for another bigger team to steal the idea and execute faster.

Yes, this does look like a valid threat.

Why would you want to do that? The coin you are promoting has to be new to us or we won't purchase it.

It's possible, but they have to be core developers/programmers.

I think to people can come up with a great concept, the issue is if they are able to build the concept and market it as well.

You should also take into consideration that some people focus on the team when investing and having only 2 people would not fill those guys with confidence.

I believe it is possible if the team has a well designed project but I also think the Pioneer team have to bring more people on board for delegation and for the success of the ICO.

If you don't think that you can cause a threat to the Bitcoin scene then you would have to do your best to research more before doing the ICO because the people here will eat you alive.
