Looking at Steven's background, I am not shocked because this kind of comments are very natural from such background. Stock markets and banks are seeing the entire crypto market as a threat to their business. So no wonder they will try to discourage us.
But it is also true that bitcoin is going through a bad time. It is bow heading towards 10k and that's a serious level of price decrease. Also this behaviour of bitcoin's price can't be termed as a Normal fluctuation. We need a solution to the scaling problem that the network is currently facing to see it get back on track.
