Sorry to ask for help with my first post, but I'm stuck and really need it. I built a new mining rig (my first) and can't get my GPU to mine correctly. I've spend 20+ hours in the last 48 hours trying to get this thing to work.

Specs:

Asus Z270-A Motherboard
Sapphire PULSE RX 580 4GB GPU (I only have 1 connected, directly in the PCI slot, no riser)

Windows 10 (works perfect)
MSI Afterburner (tried both with and uninstalled)

For the GPU:

Tried the current AMD driver and the Beta Mining Driver, same problem with both drivers, used DDU between driver installs.

Using SGMiner with 2 differnt mining pools, same results.

Here's my .bat settings:

http://i67.tinypic.com/14y77k1.jpg

When mining I only get 5-9 KH/s . Fan speed stays at 0 unless I force it on with afterburner.

Here's what SGMiner looks like while mining:

Help me mining professionals of the internet, you're my only hope.

try this, sgminer -k x17 -o stratum+tcp://x17.mine.zpool:3737 -u toyouraddress -p d=1,c=XVG  -I 8 -w 0 -g 0

or sgminer -a x17 -o stratum+tcp://x17.mine.zpool:3737 -u toyouraddress -p d=1,c=XVG -I 8 -w 0 -g 0

With the -k it starts to mine but is still only 9 KH/s.

With -a it says "Unrecognized option"

Here's a screenshot from SGMiner showing my GPU basically sitting idle.  Huh

I need a screenshot of the "complete" mining program and the folder where the "bat file" is both complete, please do not crop the image

Sorry, I was cropping to make it easier to see on the screen. Here's the folder and bat file, with miner running. The only thing cropped a little is my wallet address, no idea if anyone can do anything malicious with it.

The folder is sgminer on the desktop, .bat is in the folder with the sgminer program files.

my first written command should not give problems

look in the sgmine folder for the file called x17.cl, if it can not find the algorithm x17, is not present in the miner

If you do not find anything, try this miner. http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/x17-amd-miner/

PD, you can not do anything with your address, at least someone else has your private key. but for more privacy it is better to censor addresses https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Private_key

I tried the other miner, changed my pool/user/pw in the setup file, when it starts it does the settings, starts the miner, then windows gives a blue screen of death reset.

I'm gonna call it a night, I have another card coming Saturday, maybe it's not me but a bad card. Thanks for the help for now.

I also tried mining XVG on AMD gpu with sgminer 5.6.1, but with the same result.
Note that you have Hardware error 349 https://imgur.com/qhSmfnU also makes me HW https://imgur.com/TSHgrsA
With sgminer 4.2.2 at http://cryptomining-blog.com/3139-new-sgminer-5-0-beta-fork-with-x17-algorithm-support/, the miner also does not work.
The only thing that worked with me was the cpu miner with the following results: https://imgur.com/nhHdKx0
On XVG threads, I found that mining with AMD algo x17 was working with older 7950, X280 or 290 cards.
