Here are the challenges that I have encountered when looking for a location

1.) higher than 200A service - hard to find for small space, Ive found even some places with 140A service.

2.) windows for ventilation - most workshops and warehouses have only a garage style opening which does not help if closed

3.) neighbors complaining about the noise - doing bit of soundproofing might help

4.) security - cameras, alarm system and insurance - is more needed ?

Washington state is where I am at -  I will run 40 asics + 10 gpu

Can anyone experienced offer some tips and insights regarding locating a good place to host ?

thanks

1. You just have to look around for a larger service or talk to the landlords about upgrades.

2. In the case of limited ventilation you can use a hot/cold system where you pressurize the fresh air intake isle and just blow the heat into the rest of the building.

3. If you use the above method there isnt much sound to dampen. You should only look at free standing buildings. Any shared walls will always be a deal killer.

4. Depends on your location I guess. That should be plenty for a small setup.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.
