According to my information Smartcash got hacked, the devs confirmed that, but they tried to hide it from the public
It looks like there is an Exploit for the smartcash blockchain...

Was Smartcash stolen due to an exploit in the Smartcash blockchain ?
Was the purpose of th blockchain rollback was done back to block 266765 8th Jan 2018 09:08:40 to recover funds ?
In a rollback  transactions after this block have reverted back to their previous wallets .
How many users, exchanges and miners have lost funds without their consent ?
How much smartcash was taken ? How much smartcash was affected by the rollback ?
Will they be compensated for their losses ? How are you going to compensate them for their losses ?

more information about the situation on the links here->

some news regarding whats happened exactly:

Smartcash is based on Zerocoin. Zerocoin had an exploit that was discovered. Extra coins were able to be created due to a Zerocoin code exploit, because the Zerocoin code wasn't fully disabled.
Zerocoin allows the creation of new coins without any transaction history.   A hacker exploited that flaw, managed to create and spend coins that didn't exist previously.
The exloit was properly disabled in 0.8.7 but Zerocoin code exploit was accidentally re-introduced in 1.0.

A rollback was done to cancel the extra coins. This means that transactions after  block 266765 8th Jan 2018 09:08:40 are cancelled. This would have resulted in loss of some user funds and
cancelled mined blocks.

The miners will be compensated and balances are being settled on exchanges. This will be paid from the hive treasury.

cryptopia is delisting it due to that... i think thats enough confirmation... ))

It caused delisting on Cryptopia because the devs did not inform the exchanges in advance, invalidating all their transaction after the
rollback block.

the prob is that the smartcash btc talk is self moderated and their discord too, hard to ask questions there...

What does this mean? Cryptopia will be closing Smartcash markets so for me it means delisting, right?

Due to recent issues that have resulted in SmartCash performing a chain rollback, Cryptopia has suspended trading for this currency and will be closing the SmartCash markets.

Good we don't need centralized coins. A rollback is just not done in crypto. Especially not a rollback you try to hide from the public.
They deserve the delisting if true.

That is the most abuse reason of all time in the cryptocurrency world 'has been hacked' by the creators of different kinds of ponzi schemes or any other kind of crypto related things. First of all if they are worth investing for then why are their security measures is not enough to withstand any incoming attacks from hackers and if they are really reliable then they must pay what has been stolen to them investors to get back the trust.

For HitBTC and coinexchange as well. Users can't withdraw from there either..

Cryptopia is delisting smartcash .. just wait until they send the message out the HitBtc and coinexchange exchanges will delist too

its really bad the devs tried to hide the hack, the hacker has already sold his coins.. this rollback didnt do any good..

you are being delisted, the market is closed, and withdrawals disabled, like on all the other exchanges,
the delist notice is about to be published.

https://steemit.com/exchange/@drpuffnstuff/cryptopia-delisting-smartcash-asks-everyone-to-withdraw-yet-keeps-withdraw-in-maintenance

all the exchange transactions the hackers did worked no matter if you roll back, the exchanges payd for it.. delist imminent!
i know you guys tried to compensate the exchanges but in the listing contract you agreed on informing them about hacks and you guys DID NOT.

this is what cryptopia says:
UPDATE: SmartCash blockchain rollback
Due to recent issues that have resulted in SmartCash performing a chain rollback, Cryptopia has suspended trading for this currency and will be closing the SmartCash markets.
For all those users who have a balance of SmartCash, we advise you to withdraw your funds the latest SmartCash wallet

This is their standard procedure before delisting a coin.

Good info.  Thank you for this.  I have added this link to the SMART ANN.  I've been asking questions for the last week, and haven't gotten a single response.  I see why now.  They were trying to hide it.  Fucking shady as fuck if you ask me.

Ah...I found the information I was seeking with a bit of digging.  Would have been nice if SMART shared this info early on instead of all of us wondering why our funds were locked on these different exchanges.  Kind of shitty if you ask me.  But if you don't know, here's the info.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2797921.0

Edit: I still do like this project and I do see a lot of potential.  And I'm sure in time all will be forgotten, since crypto is so near-minded.  But to me, this will always be a black mark against this currency.

Nothing was hidden. Its a paper trail a mile long of developers updating the community every step of the way.  I invite you to go and look for yourself.  Not only did they let the community know what happened they also kept us up-to-date on the course of action they were taken and made themselves available to every exchange in order to expedite a solution.

How did you lose the funds? You lost your wallet passphrase or wallet file? Or have the funds been stolen?

They did not pay my smartrewards for 2 months.  They paid many months but stopped when my account was very big.

This coin is dead.  Sell if u still can.  Its a shame that it was a wonderful idea also.  I feel bad for the devs who worked hard and actually tried whereas 1-2 did some insider things.
