PilaPlay is a new social sports app that allows users to sign up to sporting events organised by people in their communities. The target market is primarily young professionals in urban areas who neither have the time nor the contacts to organise such events themselves, but would like a way to play sports with likeminded people without the commitment of signing up to a league or a club.
For the moment the app is free to use but to ensure a consistently high quality experience, in the long-run the aim is to mainly encourage paid events.
Our token the PlayCOIN is an integral part of our offering. Used as an incentive system within matches it will be crucial to maximising users’ enjoyment of the app. More information on the project including details about the coin can be found in our whitepaper, available to download now on our website.
