The rhetoric that Bitcoin is a bubble has always been buzzing. Does Bitcoin really have a bubble?

The rhetoric that Bitcoin is a bubble has always been buzzing. Does Bitcoin really have a bubble?

No one can be sure. The skyrocketing prices in recent months are no doubt like bubbles. Many buyers recently wished to have Bitcoin, not because of its intrinsic value, but simply because they thought Bitcoin would appreciate. This is speculation, and speculation often leads to bubbles. But it is also possible that Bitcoin is a real innovation that will help change the financial system. It is worth mentioning that the emergence of the Internet led to the Internet bubble of the 1990s, but now the Internet still exists, and some companies that collapsed at that time have now ranked among the world's most valuable companies.

I think the bitcoin bubble is very small at the moment, because bitcoin has dropped by nearly 60%, so I don't think there's a bubble yet, and it's a good time to invest bitcoin.

Hard to say if the bubble has popped and we are on the slide down for real, or whether this is another correction before another bull run. Both are equally likely in my opinion although I tend to believe slightly more we are headed back for a bull run. Would be convinced 100% we are in a bear market if we did close under 6k however, I am not a perma bull if thats what you thought Kiss.

every market has speculation. and when this speculation hype/vapour has expanded really high really quickly for no good reason. then that area is the speculation BUBBLE area.
this does not mean that bitcoin as a whole is a bubble or that houses are a bubble. the term bubble is about the over pricing.

take this as an easy example.
look at the bitcoin price chart for the last 6-12 months. ignore the highs and only look at the significant LOWS. you may see 3-4 that really stand out. draw a line through these 3-4 significant lows.. and you will see that as the water line of bath water (real utility value).. anything above the line is bubble bath bubbles of speculation

there isnt just 1 bubble and then thats the end.. there are always bubbles (speculation/hype) people will always be trying to stir the water to create  new bubbles and this happens in every market. even the housing market

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

A bubble is when people buy something with the single purpose of selling it tomorrow, at higher price.

Some people buy Bitcoin due to its functionalities, some people buy it only for profit. That said, Bitcoin could be in a bubble, but only partially.

On the other hand, by the same criteria, we can say that 99% of altcoins are in a bubble.

of course bitcoin has bubbles, it had lots of them in its short history. small bubbles and big bubbles alike. it is something that is being traded and because of that it enters bubbles from time to time.

but is it currently in a bubble is another question. and in my opinion there no longer is any bubble. it was corrected and the fact that price has fallen this much proves it and also the fact that the media keeps calling it a bubble proves it is no longer a bubble.
every time you hear something in the media against bitcoin, know that the exact opposite is true.
