Needs to be done and I salut Crowdholding for doing it. I am sure it wasn't an easy choice to make.

It's all for the platform.

I like Crowdholding and I think they are doing the right thing.

Where I think they screwed up was not making sure that this was part of the process. Maybe I am wrong and they did, but I can't see it anywhere.

Pre ico's are the most profitable thing that will always exist, there are ones who are offering a 50% discount if you purchase in there, for me, this is the most easiest way to make money without too much hassle.

I believe that they do not need to make such huge discounts, some start throwing coins that make up 3-4 times. Although, if the project is worthwhile, and it will have its own concept, then this will not happen.

Think it's a good thing.

It needs to be done to protect the alt coin. Depends how this was communicated or it was thrown on investors just now.

Pre-ICO lock up is one of the best strategy that will prevent the value of token and that of investment of the investors. We have seen cases of New ICO flooding the market with their stash at the expense of the investor. The minimum that any Team of any ICO is to lockup their own stash in other to create the confidence the token need for it to grow!

I believe it is one of the best option to protect the altcoin from dumping as soon as it hits an exchange. Personally I wouldn't invest into an ICO that didn't have a Pre-ICO lock as my investment could be compromised.

I think it's a great thing that Crowdholding are implementing this, and by the look of it most people on this thread would agree with me.

It is needed and I welcome the idea.

All good ICO's should implement this stratgery as it supports ICO investors and protects them. Well done Crowdholding!

About 80% of ICO's are scam and it's very dangerous to invest without rigorous research.
It's true that many people have made fortunes from it but also many have lost fortunes in ICO.
Invest wisely . It can be. But dont do it on speculation or be trying to make a quick profit.
You have to do your homework. Beleive in the new startup and justify in your own mind if it will be successful or not. good luck

I like what the bee token is doing with theirs. Their presale sold out in 3 minutes lol. But I copied from their medium:

"Advisors and Team: 15% of the tokens will be locked up for our Advisors and our Team, and they are to be locked up on a 2 year vesting schedule, after a 6 month cliff the team will receive ¼ of their allocation, and then every month thereafter receive 1/24th of their allocation until the 2 years is up.

For bonuses: All bonuses will be locked for 1 month following ICO."

I agree with this statement and well done for saying it!

In regards to pre-locks, it is a good step for any ICO. You shouldn't invest just because they have that, but after having a look these guys look good and proactive.

Nice low hardcap, good white paper, strong team, good social media and content creation, token burning, working product since April, adding startups and tasks for co-creation and they have already agreed with an exchange once the ICO finishes.

If you are interested, I would invest pretty soon, as if ETH keeps rising they will smash their target very soon.

It is a positive as it builds confidence in investors.

I think it could be a little harsh on the Pre-ICO investors if they didn't know about this before investing. It should have been in the terms and agreement, if ti was that's fine.
