Stakenet (XSN) First stage of DEX is now live

Stakenet just dropped the announcement that the first stage of their DEX is now live on mainnet. Their DEX is going to complete wallet to wallet swaps through Lightning Network so will be fast and secure. Here is the guide they just posted so people can try it themselves and as a reward for completing a swap they will give you 250 XSN for each swap you complete up to 4 max.

Think they are the first to off Lightning Swaps publicly on mainnet so that’s pretty cool. This current setup is all backend work which they have already said in the new multicurrency wallet it will be a 1 click solution so don’t worry if this looks overly complicated right now as it won’t be like that soon.

This is very exciting news. Lightning Network is a major step for crypto, I don't think everyone realises the potential this has for the entire industry. The first step of the DEX and a one click solution will soon be available in the multi-currency wallet. One click solution will be good for mainstream crypto market due to the technical knowledge currently required to execute, but good to see they've released the full guide to provide guidance to those wishing to be involved. Looking forward to seeing what's next for Stakenet!

This tech that XSN developed is genuinely exciting. Check out this post that one of the team made on the Discord of how it can be further utilised to build an interchain ecosystem. That alone is absolutely huge.

Let's imagine this world:

You trade at Dexchange A and want to buy a special Coin B. Sadly you realize, your exchange does not list this coin.

Your special Coin B is listed on Exchange B, because Exchange A and Exchange B are only self-focused, there is no way to trade from Exchange A with Exchange B.

BUT both exchanges use Bitcoin.

So you have:

A <-> BTC

B <-> BTC

A <-!> B

But: A <-> BTC <-> B is possible.

This is the point where we can use Lightning too. With the LN it will be possible for A to buy B using someone who can communicate with both. And XSN is/will be that one too.

The funny thing is it's not even bad for us if these coins only develop their islands. It is actually an advantage for us because we can connect all these islands into one big ecosystem whether they want to or not as long as bitcoin is the leading currency which for the foreseeable future it’s probably going to be.
