It is standard practice in Ukraine and Russia. Law enforcement under false pretenses to get a court decision on search and seizure of equipment for mining cryptocurrency. The fact that this room was an information resource, nobody cares. Now they are too long to investigate the matter and to extort a bribe. Every miner knows that time is money. Many cheaper to bribe than to receive the positive decision in court.
this is not the first episode of the SBU or SSU (ukrainian law inforcement agency) raiding mining sites
there is no legal status of the cryptocurrencies there and you will have hard time to prove that you haven't been
sponsoring terorism,as they call the rebels in Donetsk and Lugansk, eastern part of the country, terrorists
there were at least two instances of similar raids on bitcoin miners in the city of Odessa
they find a mining site by the increased amount of electricity consumed, then just raid it,confiscate equipment and you are lucky to not get encarcerated
but this time one of the officers even tried to steal bitcoins from an open wallet, this is something new even for the corrupt SBU agency-plain and utmost disregard of the laws
