Online lottery is illegal in many countries.In China ,we have a national lottery company called CWL(Chinese Welfare Lottery),which sells lottery in low odds and putting its profit into anti-poverty project.No foreign lottery is allowed to enter Chinese market.Although banned from Chinese market, big lottery companies can still offer websites,and they do attract a lot of Chinese betters for their high odds.But which makes it hard to expand bussiness is the pattern of payments.To avoid from government's supervision, their pattern of payments cannot using a simply Alipay system and become very slow.
I think using BTC or altcoins will be a good choice for online-lottery,especially anonymous coins such as well-known DASH will be a perfect match.Customers' information can be protected and the payment can be very safe.

Please be assured that what you are sharing here is not actually laughable. Online gambling is one of the biggest industries much more so that the scope is now international except of course those countries which blocked sites of this nature. I understand that the Chinese government is one of the most active in monitoring online activities and so they don't allow gambling directed to the Chinese market to proliferate. The coming of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency immediately changed this industry because anyone who has some funds in Bitcoin could participate in any gambling activities online. In fact, there are now many gambling sites which accepted Bitcoin even years before Bitcoin became so popular as it is today.
By the way, I am intrigued of your background. Are you right now based in China and also involved with Bitcoin even after the government made it a policy to have nothing to do with the cryptocurrency? I am interested to know how is the market in there after the ban and if Bitcoin holders are still able to cope up with the presumed pressure from the government? I would love to hear information straight from the horse' mouth, so to speak.
