I expect we see many more people start moving away from Bitcoin because it is just not economically sensible.

Yes, it is becoming difficult to trade small amount of bitcoins with the transaction fees it costs. Many are switching to alternate coins like Litecoin. But, it could become a catalyst to solve the "long and expensive" transaction problem of bitcoin.

Not a surprise. But would work as a wake up call for the industry players to focus on volume, not quality. Lowering the cost would ensure a steady stream of new clients.
