I'm getting "failed to connect to localhost:29081" from simple wallet... Not sure why. Configuration file is showing as correct and it says I'm synchronized from the nodes.

EDIT: I really just want to gen an address so I can mine. The ones I tried are being rejected by the pool saying the username is an unknown address.

Try this as a config file and waith 3 maybe 5 minutes before opening simple wallet.
It's mine and I'm sync OK with it

Thanks, but it didn't work  It's like simplewallet is looking for port 29081 for some reason

then remove all the roaming folder completely like i've done and restart forknoted and after sync the simplewallet.

Then when I try to connect to the pool, it tells me the address is invalid as a logon because it hasn't seen it yet? I downloaded the wallet from OP.
