Hi there!

First, let me introduce myself to the community:
My name is Bjorn, I'm from The Netherlands and been into Bitcoin since January 2013.
I've been following bitcointalk.com for a while, but haven't registered myself before till now.

My personal goals here are to get involved in the Bitcoin community and to contribute in topics wherever I can. I really like the implications of Bitcoin and would like to join the discussions about the future of crypto currencies.

However, I'm not here just for personal reasons. The other reason is to get feedback of the international community about Bitcoin Mining-contracts.

At the moment me and my business partner Kevin Kannegieter are working hard to launch an alternative to the few mining-contract providers available. We’ll be focusing mainly on cost-effectiveness, transparency and ease of use. We’ve already made a little introduction in the Dutch Bitcoin community where we gathered enough funds to realize our plans. At the moment we’ve already registered ourselves as a company based in The Netherlands, this includes V.A.T. registrations and other registrations required by Dutch Law. For the last stages we would like to involve the international community in the process and then adjust certain aspects if required.

We’ll be outsourcing certain elements too. For example I’m planning to offer a bounty to develop an interactive Bitcoin profit calculator which extrapolates from earlier data and shows a cumulative profit instead of just the profit per difficulty. This could offer great insight not only to our own contracts, but it could be of great use for the whole Bitcoin mining-community.

Another point we’ll be working on is trust. Bitcointalk.org is known for it’s skepticism which we support and respect. It’s good to have a place with some guidance about what’s real and what isn’t. We’ll be doing our best to proof that our identities are real and our company is valid. General tips and suggestions about earning trust are welcome since we’re quite new to the international community.

Well that’s in short what we’re up to for the coming days. We’ll present our company later this week when we’ve gathered more feedback. At the moment we’re planning a soft launch for the first of August. Once we implemented all the feedback we’ll go official a few days later.

In this topic we would like to know your opinions about mining-contracts and about current mining-contract providers. For example:

What do you find important when looking for a Bitcoin mining-contract?
Are there specific features offered by other Bitcoin mining-contract providers which you like or dislike?
Do you have some general tips or suggestions about Bitcoin mining-contracts?

Let us know, we appreciate your feedback!

with kind regards,

Bjorn de Graaf

PS: for the moderators: could you whitelist us so we can post a bounty for the calculator in the Project Development board? My username is ‘BjorndeGraaf’ and the username of my business partner is ‘k.kannegieter’ Thanks in advance.
