Has anyone here made any pre-order purchases with ASX Project? and if so have you noticed their website no longer functions?

Never heard of it before today but looking through google cache and forum threads it is almost certainly a scam.

If you sent them any funds you will never see it again.

It certainly did look like one (scam).  The site had images of Apple chips with Apple blurred out, a 10+ year old powersupply, and another chip from texas instruments which they didn't even bother with photoshop treatment.  Their product was a moduler miner at 25GH/s per module up to 6 in one box.  Total of 175GH/s for approx $2400, payments in bitcoin only, delivery within 2-3 weeks of purchase.  Here is the original thread from 4 months ago:
