Transaction description not persisting

Hello.

I'm having an issue with Electrum that whenever I do a money transfer, whatever description I enter in the appropriate field is not being persisted in between sessions. Repro steps:

• Transfer some bitcoins
• Enter any description
• Exit and restart Electrum
• Description is not there anymore

I'm using the portable Windows version of Electrum because I wanted to whole of it to be stored in an encrypted drive. But I think this issue happened even before when I was using the non-portable version.

Update to the latest version. This issue is fixed on GitHub, but I don't know if there was a release after it.

Yeah, I've got the latest current version ( 1.8 ). I guess I'll have to wait a bit then: as my objective is portability, the built EXE file is my best option.
