Hey everyone,
sorry to bother/spam, but the other threads are probably way too technical for me. I just wanted to ask, whether it is possible, how can I send my 0.00224266 BTC to my coinbase account, without the fee being bigger than the amount I'm trying to send. I tried sending it multiple times, each time with higher and higher fee (the amount of which I don't really understand), but nothing worked. Every time it says that the fee is small.
Please help, thanks.

Go to Tools -> Preferences -> Check "Edit fees manually".

Now, when you are making a transaction, you can manually edit your fee to a lower ammount than the recommended by Electrum. Keep in mind that you need to understand what you are doing, because your transaction may get stuck for days if you set up a fee smaller than the recommended.

Here is a tip: Set up a fee that you believe is ok to pay. Now, don't click "Send". Instead, click "Preview", "Sign" (put your password if you have any) and see how much you are paying in satoshis/byte by looking for "Fee" at the transaction details. You can use this website[1] which is more user friendly or those[2][3] to check how much you need to pay in satoshis/byte to get a confirmation in a reasonable amount of time.

Sorry, but as I said, this is a bit too complicated for me. I just need to get this money to my coinbase account, where I hopefully won't have to care about all this. What fee would you suggest in this moment?

Ok. Then do this for me:

1. Write up your transaction (Address receiver, amount and 0 fee);
2. Click "Preview";
3. Click "Sign"; (don't click Broadcast)
4. Post here how much is the "Size" of the transaction. E.g: https://vgy.me/oe0sEL.png

I will calculate a fee that is (probably) not that expensive and won't make your transaction get stuck. But depending on the transaction size, you will NEED to pay a big fee to get a confirmation. If that's the case, do you mind waiting a few days for a confirmation or are you in a hurry to send your coins to Coinbase?

Wait, how do I get rid of the previous transaction? I did it somehow before, but now it's just stuck on the top of my history and says: low fee

This means that you already sent a transaction. And you can't get rid of it. So you will either need to wait until it confirms, or until it gets dropped from the mempool. The last option will take some time (days) and then, the transaction will be "canceled" and the amount "sent back to your address".

Right click the transaction in the History tab, select "View on block explorer" and paste the link it opens here.

Also, when you right click the transaction, can you see a "Increase fee" option?

Yes, I already sent it like this before, but it got cancelled a bit faster, I guess.
Here's the link: https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/af591d64619af006d1a2eed02336c1eb1ab3dbd26b1a02b2543bec18456a3129
I tried to make the fee way too big, yet it still won't confirm, as you can see.
And yes, I can increase the fee.

Hm... I see why Electrum is suggesting you a big fee.
Your transaction has 15 inputs (which is a lot) of almost dust amounts. Basically, more inputs/outputs = bigger transaction = more fees. And that's something you can't avoid while using Bitcoin.

The transaction you linked me has a fee of 70 sat/byte which is probably the minimum you need to pay to give your transaction any chance of getting confirmed. Checking the websites I linked you above, only now the transactions with 100+ sat/byte are getting cleared. And when they do, the ones of 70+ sat/byte (including yours) are the next. If you lower your fee more than that, your transaction will probably take a few weeks before getting a confrmation (or don't get any at all). You could also increase your fee with RBF (the "Increase fee" option), but you would lose even more money in fees with that.

I personally would leave it like that and wait for a confirmation in a few days or couple of weeks. Sadly, that's how bad Bitcoin is congested nowadays.

So, because I've got the money from a lot of different adresses, means I have to send the information about all of them along? Is there a way to leave any of these miniscule amounts behind, so the fees aren't so high? Is that profitable?

Almost all of your inputs are of low value. So leaving them alone wouldn't help that much.

It's also a little bit more complicated to choose which inputs you want to spend. If you want to do that in the future:

Go to the Coins tabs (View -> Show Coins). Ctrl-Click select all the inputs you want to spend, right click and choose Spend. They will be added in the "Form" field. From there, just make your transaction as you would normally do.

I also can't say how much your input must be to be worth spending them due to the fees, as I don't have this knowledge.

I'll try and wait if the transaction gets confirmed. It's 3/4 of what I was trying to send, so if that doesn't work, I'll probably give up. The amount I would get with even higher fees is basically nothing, I'll rather spend the time doing something productive Cheesy Anyway, thank you very much, you've been a great help Smiley
