Hi there,

I've got a question,

I'm starting to build my own mining rig, and got some questions.

I've got everything ready, except for the GPU cards.

I'm wondering if there is a much difference in like 1050TI 4gb and say a 1060TI 4gb with hashing power?

At most cards i see their mhz and CUDA cores. Do i need to look at them for mining ?

I dont want to go for mining the "old' coins, but i'm going to mine the new altcoins like XP coin, trezorcoin etc

Thx in advance~!

I'd stay away from the 1050ti cards. It really depends on what you want to mine. For some AMD cards are better, for others NVIDIA cards are better. Price and availability also come into play with most places being sold out of the better cards. Best advice I have is research which coin(s) you want to mine and then research what other people are getting with their cards. Then use that information to make your decision.

There are lots of websites which can provide you with the details about which cards are the best.

Just google it.

Check out the different website that offer profit estimators such as whatomine.com or nicehash profitability calculator.  I would say get the 1060s but in today's market you really need to grab whatever you can get your hands on.

Graphics card 1050ti much easier to find in stores. I have a rig on 5x1050ti. And I am encouraged by the price ratio of issued performance! Besides 1050ti quiet and cold.
