This is a very interesting idea with tremendous potential. Some possibilities:
- Since the network effect is so important, could allow users to link other profiles/verifications. Eg, someone with many Airbnb reviews could verify himself/herself by making specific changes to their profile based on requests from the cryptocribs network. So one could see that a person has x positive reviews (and with other sites or even profiles, such as linkedin or facebook). Without leveraging such ideas it seems unlikely that this could compete with airbnb and other platforms.
- Could have an ICO in order to raise funds for the development of the website/platform. Without raising funds, there would not be enough time/resources to work on it.
I am not seeing how this could eventually become completely decentralized. Where would the website be hosted? Without some network of miners or other resources, how would it be secure from hacking and manipulation?
