There is a minimum threshold one is allowed to travel beyond immigration border. In my country , you can't travel with more than $10,000;Unless you document and declare it.  Do you think I need to declare my cryptocurrency to the immigration? OR should I keep mute. My fear is I might be charge with money laundering if I later exchange my crypto at my destination and the authorities found out. Any body with experience to share with me.

How do you travel with a decentralized chain?

Do you declare whats on your credit cards?

This is a moronic thread and I bit.

I really do not think it's necessary as the fact that it's decentralized. Of, course, nothing is impossible. With the way things are going, crypto would change the world, definitely. But, your crypto is just about your anonymity, you don't need declare it to anyone.

Are you stupid? The cryptocurrency is a free currency and you don't have to declare that you hold the cryptocurrency. You don't need to tell everyone that you own the cryptocurrency. This is your own protection. You can boldly use cryptocurrencies when you go to Japan, but you can't do that in countries like Mexico.

There's no need to declare anything as they don't even know that you are bringing that much money, they don't need to know that for your own convenience. If they know then they ask you to provide some document it is more works to do, you can stay quote about it and just spend the crypto later.

I don't think you need to make any declaration to the immigration office. The cryptocurrency is your property only when it is converted into cash. Now it is just a number, and I think you use cryptocurrency even in other countries. , your country can not find it is you use!

As long as you are not bringing cash with you then no need to worry about your crypto. Those crypto that you have in your wallet has been taxed by the government and they can't do anything if you're going to exchange it into cash anywhere in the world. As long as you are not doing illegal stuff with your money.

Yes, people need to declare cash only when traveling. This certainly does not apply to crypto currency. In many countries there is generally no such thing as a crypto currency, in these countries there is no law that would regulate operations with crypto currency.

The only way they will know it, is if you tell them that you have cryptocurrency, what if they ask you to open your wallet so they could see how much do have, will you do it, silence is going to be a virtue here, so keep it to yourself and find a way they will not discover you have cryptocurrency.

there is no need whatsoever in declaring ICO related asset or ones crypto currency in the immigration of any country as it is not supposed to be tailored to your name like other assets would. it can only be spent and not tied to you like and equipment or a luggage

WOW! to me this is like declaring thin air to them, it's tangible yet intangible, physical yet not physical. money laundering laws only apply to physical cash you may have on you at that point so except they have the device(i haven't invented it yet), then they don't know how wealthy I am.
