What coins could handle being Amazon's primary paynetwork?

So what coins right now are situated to handle Amazon's pay network?

At their peak they do around 1500 transactions per second.  Add in the fact this platform wouldn't just be servicing Amazon we would definitely need a fairly robust coin.

What other features do any of the coins out there have that would make Amazon choose them over others?
