Hi, i made the following transaction in bitcoin core v15.1 last night:

Status: 0/unconfirmed, in memory pool
Date: 29/12/2017 00:37
To: 1NSEQZFAs7nNgwR9SVkxcXaZ3zE5jMTbfP
Debit: -2.21794207 BTC
Transaction fee: -0.00184200 BTC
Net amount: -2.21978407 BTC
Transaction ID: 3fde31d1d2bb15f26a12043cd724424741d0a2adb415d645480dce1b45883877
Transaction total size: 1225 bytes
Output index: 0

However, the transaction is still showing as unconfirmed in my wallet.

I thought the fee of 150satoshi/byte was ok, but I don't think that is the problem.

When i search the transaction ID online i find that the transaction cannot be found:
https://www.blockonomics.co/api/tx?txid=3fde31d1d2bb15f26a12043cd724424741d0a2adb415d645480dce1b45883877

"Transaction 3fde31d1d2bb15f26a12043cd724424741d0a2adb415d645480dce1b45883877 not found (Maybe tx fees is too low). Please try after some time."

So i googled around and found that i could use getrawtransaction to get further transaction data and paste the results into https://coinb.in/#broadcast. So i did this but the error i get from the website is "Missing inputs".

I should probably add that I emptied my whole wallet, leaving no BTC in there. I think there are about 5 addresses within my wallet containing some amount of BTC.

The wallet also won't allow me to try to redo the transaction however because it says i have zero balance.

Any ideas? Do you know whether its safe for me to export my private keys into a wallet like exodus and try to send the BTC from there again?

Thanks for the help!

I have the same problem and don't know how to solve it. I have heard that it is possible to cancel transaction somehow. Who knows anything about it?

Not exactly cancel but you can abandon your TX on BitcoinCore if you are the sender

And if there any chance for transaction to pass after one week? I see that there are now more than 180 K transactions not passed...

I tried to abandon the transactions by running bitcoin core with -zapwallettxes, however now when i open up bitcoin core i have 0 balance. When running the following in the console:

getaddressbyaccount ""

I get a list of my address, and i can confirm using blockchain.info that these addresses still contain my bitcoin.

Anyone have any ideas as to what to do to get bitcoin core to show the balances in the addresses in my account?

Update: eventually my transaction just went through.

150 s/b is a low fee these days. It is not surprising that it took so long to confirm.

My transaction has finally passed too, though the payment for that was only 50 000 sat. But what is the use to pay more, if you send only one-two hundreds thousands of satoshi?
