I've been using Coinbase to buy Bitcoin and Bittrex to trade, but now would like to sell some and transfer to a UK bank account. I've looked into various options such as Uphold, LocalBitcoins, CoinsBank, and others, but when I look at reviews for these websites they are not good and don't appear to be 100% safe. Does anyone know a safe way to sell and transfer the funds back to a UK bank account?

Thanks but I'm not looking to deal directly with anyone. I'm looking for a long-term solution.

Just use Localbitcoins, never had any problems there and there's plenty of traders who will buy from you.

If it's anything like the US, just use Coinbase (don't worry, it's safe) to sell your BTC for USD/EURO and then transfer it to your bank account. Just remember to claim any gains when filing your taxes.

I'm starting a technology blog T4CH.top, check it out!

Check out https://revolut.com/ - you get a US/EUR/GBP account to send funds into. Bittrex -> Coinbase -> Bank. Don't forget you can also use CB to fund GDAX.

Cex.io is also a good option for this.

Thank you all for sharing this info. Not sure what I would do without this forum, honestly! For an additional bit of info, Revolut seems really useful especially if you have one of their pre-paid cards, you can use it anywhere in the EU without the usual charges...bonus!!
