I confirmed the transaction from my email.
you didn't confirm the transaction from your email. you (possibly) confirmed your withdrawal from a third party service (exchange?) and then they sent you your bitcoins in a transaction. that transaction still has to be mined by miners which means they have to include it in a block.
and depending on its fees it can be in the next block (10 minutes on average) or it can be a very long time.
check this site for more information on fees:
https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/Does this normally take this long or is there possibly an issue?
it will always come down to the amount of fee your transaction has. but normally things aren't like this. fees are low and transactions are confirmed faster.
for the past month or so fees are higher than normal.
