TOKYO - JAPAN - August 5th, 2013

LiteCoin Update

We hate to apologize yet again for the delay in implementing Litecoin, but the fact of the matter is that it depends on a variety of factors, including completing all of the above before we launch. We're looking forward to the rollout, but at this point are reluctant to speculate on when. We are sorry to keep Litecoin enthusiasts hanging.

So instead of doing this at first they lead people on to think something will happen by a certain date and then fail to deliver.

I make the prediction right now that BFL will have shipped all their backorders (prior to june 2013) before Gox adds LTC.

Within 24 hours of the first facebook announcement, huge sell walls started slamming LTC on Btc-e.  And they continued consistently for over a week.  And yet, LTC was 'officially' slated to be traded on Mtgox...so why would whales sell so aggressively?  I leave it up to you to speculate what was going on...

I was actually happy to read this update.  It again confirms they are proceeding with adding LTC, and any update is better then no update in my opinion.  Of course the sooner they add LTC the better for people who have an interest/stake in LTC.

I'll also take some action on whether GOX adds LTC before BFL delivers all pre-orders up to June 2013.  I think that's a no-brainer
Peace.

Ohh, this is Gox thread ... I thought it is about BFL.  Grin

I found myself today actually typing "BFL" thinking I was typing "GOX" in a discussion about GOX in another thread.  Sounds like they operate on the same principles: DELAYS and EXCUSES.

Kids clicking mouse button. (In reality more like speculators speculating a sell off)

At least they don't give a new time estimate every 2 weeks™. Now there is no estimate_lol™.
