Unfortunately, I can't see it happening any time soon.

Seeing as they haven't paid out any withdrawals within the last 4-6 weeks, businesses and individuals alike are starting to lose trust in MtGox - more so than usual. I think they have much bigger problems than expanding into other currencies, that will ultimately exacerbate their existing problem of growing too fast.

I don't think they'll do it - but hey! You never know.

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.

I've never trusted a line announced by Gox! Too many problems to solve they have.
Lawsuits, new trading platform, withdraw backlogs, [name the next excuse here]. Sounds familiar? Kind of BFL'ish?
If they manage to sort out all these things in July it will be miracle. And meanwhile, they are constantly losing trust... not a good way for an exchange to follow.
So, LTC on Gox... certainly not July, maybe mid August or close to never. It was and still is only a rumor after all.
I wouldn't rely on this hype attempt for adding some value to LTC, real life implementation will bring much more value to it though.

+1 to that.

There isn't any reason not to add it. They'd make a bundle off transaction fees and basically bringing a whole market into the mainstream.

Yes thank you.

Lots of fake news these days.

Yeah kinda like George Soros investing millions being a 2 year old lie? That whole "New Avalon investment".

@OP just assume it won't happen for many months. Then you won't be let down.

Gox has a special talent of being able to do this.
