CPU mining brings very small amount of money - you will earn for GPU for a long time. I think better for you to try bounties and airdrops. Obsolescence of mining equipment is one of the risk factors to consider. My advice is that you consider other alternatives of investment in the cryptocurrency space. You can engage in bounties and airdrop or go for trading or staking.

You need to have a GPU too, only a CPU is not enough to get the work done. And participate in the airdrops as much as you can. And make sure you are updated in the bounty hunting campaigns.

I came to the conclusion from mining three years ago to this year, that is, selling mining equipment early, because mining does not make money, and the people who make money are always the people who sell mining equipment. Mining is not as good as speculating, this is my suggestion.
