Helo there, today I'm not able to do a BTC withdrawal from MtGox, everytime I try it always says the Bitcoin address I've entered is not valid, and I've tried with several different addresses. WTF is happening? Has anybody experienced this problem?

Thanks.

Their withdrawal feature is erratic. I can confirm I got "Invalid Address" several times. I hit one that finally worked, but the withdrawal hasn't appeared on the blockchain yet (been about 10 minutes).

But it is true that their green address sees a good number of withdrawals. Seems (again) more like incompetence.

i always pay the network tx fee and when it does go through it is quick...

i swear if BTC fails it is because the people at Gox will bring it down... after all this is all a big experiment at this point

I did two withdraws today.
The first of 219 had no problems, but the second of 179 Btc appeared in the blockchain after about ten hours (and it is not confirmed yet).
I paid the fee for both.

There are more people with this problem:

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1k81p5/mtgox_denying_btc_withdrawls/

I finally managed it to accept a withdrawal to another address but one hour later the transaction, has still not entered the blockchain...

If only I could finally get rid of them...

did you use a green address? it can take up to 24 hrs as their website states

also i find that if you just pay the tx fee and not use green, its very quick (when it actually works)

I just pulled out 80 BTC.

I had the bad address problem. Then I tried 3 new addresses I created. The third one worked. So it seems like you just need to keep creating new addresses until one works.

I paid the miner fee and it took 5 hours to enter the blockchain, and then 10 minutes to get the confirmations.

I just did two transfers with no address problems.

The first one was for 10 BTC, it has not reflected on the blockchain for about 20 minutes as of right now. The other was for 4.99 BTC and reflected in about 5 minutes. It is erratic. Could be as you guys have pointed out, due to hot/cold wallet logjam.

Nope. And I always pay the tx fee. It finally arrived when I checked the next morning. Not sure how long did it take, though.

I still have a couple withdrawals I have to do, probably tomorrow. I'll report back here.
