Maybe you are referring to new people who can be interested with cryptocurrency but are not jumping into the bandwagon all because they are seeing reds in the market. Last year we saw a big gain in the market because many investors, holders and speculators were convinced that things are going up and will not do any reverse. Alas, in 2018 things started to went around and many lost their money. Now, we are seeing a different market one that is always cautious and frankly the atmosphere is not that very positive. There remains too much volatility around and I am sensing that maybe this super-volatility we are experiencing is connected to the perceived lack of value of the many available coins and tokens. Anyway, cryptocurrency is not yet an old development this is still so young and there can be a time when things will start to consolidate here and we can lost many of the existing coins and tokens due to market forces. Will there be a similar DotCom meltdown happening soon?

My opinion about the crypto market is that it seems to be the start of the altcoin harvest season when a good range of altcoins are entering the buy zone even for short-term or long-to-midterm brethren. You see that is the coin on the page

Decrease in volume is not always a sign that new investors won't enter the market. Rather decrease in volume means fall in prices, low prices will induce new investors to enter the market who were earlier not willing to buy as they thought they already missed buying coins at cheap. So when new investors enter, it will make the volume rise which in turn raise the prices. So it is not the time to despair, crypto market will revive soon.

Totally agree with you, I think once the market starts the recovery process new investors will come in bulk so we have to wait for some good time.

Oh OK. I do get what you're trying to convey. In other words you mean that the investors are not coming (assumption no.1) and so it's up to us traders or holders to get the market back onto its feet. I would say you're right. The sign ups of investors have greatly reduced and so we must continue to HODL because one day will be bright day.

Sellers are mostly the panic investors so they probably sold their coins even at a loss. Investors are quiet waiting for the right time to come in, they don't want to enter the market right now because they know it currently being manipulated by bigger group/person. We must hold and don't let this market to fully manipulated, if no one sold their coins at a lower price for sure the value will increase.

Basically there are very little people who are real new investors and very little people who are long term hodlers because for me long term hodling is hodling at least 5-10 years and most new people are just weak hands who sells when crash.

I also do not understand what happens if all investors or holders of coins hold their coins and do not sell them,
there is no volume in the market because everyone is holding their coins, then how the trade can work if no one sells. its price will not improve if there is no trading activity
