I am mining with only one grapics card. XFX Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5

Using nanopool.org and Claymoreminer.

I am mining only ETH and getting about 27.679 Mh/s

Mining XMR i get 800 H/s

Is there anything i can optimize more?

What hash rate should i be seein?

they are pretty good hashrate numbers
i do not think so you can optimize further than this
how is the power consumption?

Hello.

The Powerconsuption is about 150W.

The whole computer running 7 hdd, uses about of 300W while mining.

you'd better change those hdd for some gpus))
that would bring you more money than those HDD
well I don't have 290x on the hand, but based on RX570 performance about 920 h/s - your numbers seem legit to me

In comparison, my RX 470 also does 27-28 MH while mining Ethereum, all the while running at around 70-80 watts. Big difference right? Especially if you are mining in a country where electricity is not exactly cheap.

If you don't wanna jump in and buy more GPUs just yet, what you can do is to first disconnect those 7 HDDs and use just 1. HDDs also consume electricity and they could be contributing to your power consumption.

Hello.

I took away the HDDs but saved marginaly power.

Althoug as it is winter time here and i need the heat in my house anyway. I am not so worried about it at the moment.

I pay aboud 0,125$ per Kw/h so roughly 0,9$ a day. of 4$ income. So still going 3$(unrealised) pluss the free heat.
I am thinking about buying another GPU, but prices are steep. i could get anoter used 290x for about 250$ but that will take me about 84 days to pay.
I am thinking about trying to dualmine now to get more profit. what should i choose?

Feel free to give any comments on my reflections.
