Hello miners,

I have one MSI gtx 1060 Armor 3GB OVC1 card and it is with Samsung memory.
It is giving me 25.2 Mh/s with which I was very satisfied given the price of the card and power consumption.

I ordered 6 more not knowing that they make same models with different memory types.
These 6 new came with Hynix memory and I do not know if I am doing something wrong but I just can not get past 20.2 Mh/s with these.

I think I saw somewhere on the forum that someone mentioned they managed to push them further but I can not find that post anymore...

Can somebody please help about this problem?

Best to you all!

If you're getting 20MH/s on ETH with Hynix consider yourself lucky at being able to even push that memory that hard. Mine only do 17-19.

You ordered forks but you ended up getting spoons. I suggest you eat a different food.

Mine a different algo like equihash - you make more than mining eth typically.

BTW, had you simply searched for the phrase "1060" and read the 2 threads about 1060s coming with Hynix or the 1060 superthread you would have seen that they all have Hynix now (maybe Micron if lucky). Samsung memory is diverted to the dedicated mining cards.
