Hi there. I'm a newbie in crypto world. In the last 48hours I read the forum a lot, watch some youtube videos and I'm kind familiarized for the basic terms and the idea of crypto.
However I want to start playing even if my budget at this moment it's kind of low.

So, basically I want to buy some 10-20 cents coins and leave them there for a while. I see the fees are high due to the bitcoin activity from last days so I will try to buy those coins using BCH(I have already some BCH). Do you know any market where I can change BCH for dent, tron and sia using BCH only?

For the most of the market sites I signed up I think they only allow me to buy those coins if I have one of the big players seed coins, BTC and Etherum.
Thanks

Hi there,

Your best bet would be transferring your BCH to an exchange that sells one of the coins you're after (TRON, SIA, etc.), sell the BCH for BTC, and then buy the coin you're after. This is because exchanges don't trade coins paired with BTC; generally just BTC/ETH/USD.

So in a nutshell:
-Send BCH to the exchange;
-Sell BCH for BTC; then
-Buy coin you're after using BTC.

Hope that makes sense. Good luck.

In my opinion the easiest way to check such trading pairs is to use https://coinmarketcap.com/

You have to check on which exchanges are traded DENT, Tron and SC, and compare it to the list of exchanges where BCH is traded.
On Coinmarketcap just look for "Markets" tab - there you should find answers Wink

Only marketplace which has all the coins you are interested in (BCH, TRX, DENT and SC) is HitBTC (https://hitbtc.com/). This is one of the popular exchanges, so just open the account here, transfer the BCH to the wallet on their site and than change BCH to BTC and ETH. You have to use both values, because on HitBTC you can buy DENT only with ETH, and SC only with BTC (for TRX you can use both).

Thank you all guys for your answers.

@hamopipa You are saying hitbtc is safe. Then why is placed in tier 3 with high risk according to this post? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2609971.0

You could always pick an exchange which has the coins you want that also pairs with etherium and covers BCH. Binance (my first pick), bittrex or polinex are all good options.

Send your BCH to that exchange, switch to ETH, then trade to the coin. That will have lower fees than trading through bitcoin.

You can look up exchange pairings in the marketplace tab on https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/#markets.

I said from my experience and I did not have any problems. Thank you very much for sharing that link, I didn't know about these tiers. I would consider changing my exchange.
