Even though I am part of the Chancoin family I must impart this information that I've stumbled upon.  While I work on promotion for the coin I was checking the google trends searches for Chancoin to see how much presence we were gathering.  While looking at the graph I noticed something very peculiar.  In 2004...........5 years before Satoshi Nakamoto dropped Bitcoin we see a high search en masse for Chancoin.  Now I ask all of you.................WHO WAS THE FIRST?  BITCOIN OR CHANCOIN.

We also are almost 2000 strong in the Chancoin City discord.  All are welcome to come in and enjoy the madness.

Bitcoin was the first crypto currency to get big adoption. Ripple actually existed years before bitcoin, but never  got wide adoption, and it had a different code base to the modern ripple. After bitcoin gained widespread adoption someone paid a programmer to change the ripple code to what is used today, after which it started to get more users.

It doesn't matter which crypto currency was technically the first, it only matters which was the first to get widespread adoption, and bitcoin did that.

Chancoin was searched for first. Bitcoin came second.
