Thoughts on my portfolio

Hello.

I have tried to balance my portfolio between high and low risk coins. It is around 50k USD. Bitcoin is around 30% of my portfolio, and no less than 1000$ is invested in any altcoin.

I gotta say this first time I read a portfolio on here and thought it was supremely good. The only pick of yours I dont really like is Tron. However getting into WePower ICO should be killer, I signed up myself too and if I recall correctly there was over 100k people signed up!

and decentralized exchanges like heat , nvo
i would say add another privacy coin zcoin
and i am loving bts day by day too

I am also holding all this coin along with LTC, ETC, ETH, DASH and many more. You are not holding top 10 coins in your portfolio which I think is bad decision. You should spread your risk among top coins so that you won't loss much during huge correction. When there will be another round of correction all other alts with small marketcap might loss more than half of their price.

I would just sell ethlend as its probably a ponzie scheme and will probably have the same faith as bitcconect,deepcoin is airdrooped and pumped coin that will probably be gone in next 2 years as it doesnt bring anything new to the game while tron is already pumped hard and dont see it going big.I would probably add some coins that are used buy echanges like bnb wich you already have but now almoust all exchanges are ading their coins that will go big as more and more customers come in play

For the zero fee purpose I hold some Zero. A small gem that just might explode some day.
As for the decentralized exchange, I am investing in Blockpoint tomorrow. I see a great amount of potential in it.

As for Tron, it is being traded in crazy volumes even though the price is low compared to ATH. This is not a long term hold. More of a 1700-1900 sat hold, as it will be pumped again in the near future.

As for Ethlend, they have been undergoing some rather interesting partnership, SwissBorg being one of them. As it is a ICO I believe can be great, this creates a good synergy in my portfolio. Regarding my DeepOnion investment, it is most likely a short to mid term hold.

I think you have a good list and I see some of the coins is the first time I see the coins but I think it could work well for you in the future. it is good that you have bitcoin, monero, tron, deeponion in your list. but I don't see ethereum on your list? did you forget to buy ethereum? but I think it is enough for you and I only could say, good luck with your list.

Honestly.. my Ethereum mainly goes toward ICO's, but I am actually in the process of figuring out whether I should skip my Bitcoins and buy Ethereum instead. I do by all means not believe Bitcoin to be dead, and I do think it will grow in 2018. I just don't see it grow more than a maximum of 200-300%. The long to mid term potential in the rest of my portfolio is likely to grow more, and the same goes for Ethereum.

It comes down to risk/reward, and this is one of them. At this stage in crypto, people don't buy a working product, they buy the best idea. I believe Salt and Ethlend to be pretty similar. However, seeing the market cap on both right now, I believe it is more likely for Ethlend to hit 500m market cap than for Salt to hit 1500m. I can be wrong though.

They may be a good addition to your portfolio. I think Zero and Deep onion have some really good potential, as they are very much under valued right now.

I saw that you are holding INS in there. Just buy as much as you can right now since the price is below $5 at the moment. It can easily touch $10 before the end of the month.

And AMLT is a good one too, it will be one of the best ones during the first quarter of the year.

I would rather add some coins from TOP 15 as Ethereum, LTC, Dash, NEO. It can be viewed as low-risk investments. Also, if you are going to participate in any ICO, in most cases you will need Ethereum for investing: most of ICOs use ETH Blockchain. Of course you can invest with any other cryptocurrencies, but ETH is easy to use for investements.

I like many of your picks but I noticed you have 0 platform crypto in there and this market dip may be good for you to buy in positions in (admit-ably) low-risk platform coins that should still be able to multiply in value within the year(Eth,Neo,VeChain,QTUM) all come to mind with the 2nd and 3rd being the most hyped right now.
If you re looking for lower cap coins it might still be a good chance for you to get positions in NEBL(20$ right now), ADST(fresh off ICO with lower than ICO prices due to market decline), APPC(1.25 each wont last long), COB(right now at 1/5th of ATH), as well as PRL & Elix if you have access to kucoin.

p.s. depending on prices bought I would consider a smaller position on xspec(that already multiplied a lot in value since release) and Tron(now the initial FOMO and insane price increases slowed down and it has to prove itself with an actual product that it still doesnt have). Not saying to sell at loss but if you can afford to, selling all or parts of those will get you much further if invested in any of the above imo.
