Coinbase, reputable and ability to direct deposit thru USD, they also insured your deposits

Bittrex, though have some issues on new users at my first attempt they've address it and they answer you thru support

Poloniex, My first experience on trading, have read some nightmare incident on some users I might be lucky didn't encountered it

just choose the most reputable and big trading sites, however they are not all hack proof, so I consider them one of the risk when using them

Depends on coins you want to sell. ETH, ZEC etc are traded on most exchanges but if you get into smaller ones you'll have to look into Cryptopia, Cryptobridge etc.

well, it is all imho, of course, there is now warranties  and responsibilities and blah, blah, blah.. .but I can post the exchanges I'm working with - binance, poloniex, kucoin, bitrex and cryptopia (some trades here)
