Alright world anyone have any thoughts on where bitcoins value will sit at going into and through 2018

I think bitcoin will certainly reach the 40K mark by the end of  2018, though that awaits to be seen. Bitcoin right now is a bit shaky, but will most likely start to go up again later on on the new year (or in the early parts of 2018)

However, it all depends on how the market portrays bitcoin as and if the transaction times/ speeds are not yet fixed, I don't think bitcoin will be going anywhere soon.

Though also for sure bitcoin is being with with FUD and whatnot. Quite sad...

I think that 2018. will not be as good for bitcoin as it was this year. Yes there will be rise in price, but it will not be in same percentage as in this year. I guess the first thing that we could expect in 2018. is correction of price, so there will be small drop. But after that everything will go normally. Some people predict price of 100k $ in 2018. , but i think that is just too much. I guess that it could go as far as 50k $, and even that is too high if you ask me. But I am sure that it will hit 30k$ . We shell see...

I think bitcoin will rise around $ 40k next year (2018). But with a little bit drop. But still profitable for investors.
I still believe will increase more than this year (2017), because many people know benefit invest in bitcoin.

So many predictions were been made for the bitcoin price in 2018 by different people from good to bad. For me, i think 2018 is going to a wonderful for bitcoin despite so many challenges affecting bitcoin e.g. high transaction fee and slow transaction speed. Even with all that, i think bitcoin will finish selling around $50,000 in 2018.

To be honest, it's very pleasant to read such forecasts. The fact is that to date, if I made an investment of 12,000 dollars in Bitcoin, then judging by your projections of $ 50,000 for the next year 2018, I will become much richer.

This could be considered as my high expection for bitcoin and I also know some pull backs and correction is possible in anytime between. However I am always bullish with bitcoin....

It is a really good prediction,but i wonder what will be the transaction charges after reaching $100k  no one will be having any plans to move their coins,it will  be used solely for trading within the exchanges and that might cause issues,so i do not see those price valuations until the issues with transaction charges are sorted.

The transaction speed problem is going to be resolved either by the lightning network, the 2x fork or something else. I've read an article today about a new project similar to 2x, that is going to increase the speed of the network. That is of course if people decide to support it.
I also believe we're going to go up but first we'll have a shakedown. It's been happening for a couple days and might continue throughout January.

The value of bitcoin in 2018 have some  predictions,I think is going to wonderful price raise on bitcoin.I think the price of bitcoin will reach the value of 50,000$.You can inverse now to get huge profit.In bitcoin, long term holding will surely give profit.But you should have some patience when the price is fall.

I see there are many people predicted about bitcoin by 2018, in which case I can not explain my opinion, but I can only hope that all investors who strengthen bitcoin value by 2018 can reach above 15k and hopefully this can happen.

I think price of bitcoin this 2018 will continue to rise. Same with other’s opinion it will continuously soar high as long as the investors of bitcoin who can see bitvoin as a good way of investment and easy way of payment.

If you are talking about bitcoin's price, then for me, it will be over $30,000 at the end of the year, but we are going to pass through a few dips before touching that price. And i think that a lot of people are going to panic sell in the middle of them.

60k by August. We'll see lots of moment around there, then 90k by the end of the year. I don't think we'll see the same growth we saw this year, because that would be impossible to continue on that trend. I'd be happy to see a 30k bitcoin but we'll see how the growth goes from here. Huge changes have to happen with the fees people are paying. Segwit needs to be used more and LN too. That'll help.

Maybe we can see bitcoin hitting the $30k mark, but there is some speculation that we can see this coin bellow $8k mark.
 The more investors we see, the price of Bitcoin will rise and the price will be forced to go higher.

I see bitcoin price in 2018 will more rise and continue to increase.We have a good predictions that many investors would deal in bitcoins and users amy engage on it thay affect our price value to make it higher and grow rapidly.

I would say that bitcoin will be bouncing between 10K and 15K for the next few months.
People still remember the fall down from 20K so they will sell faster once the price goes up.
So I don't think we will see the 20K level fall within the next six months. Maybe at the end of the year, but that is a pure guess.

In general, It is certain that this year will be magnificent for Bitcoin, although that at the middle of this month there was a big fall in price, and unfortunately that many problems have led to this crisis in the value of this currency. In fact, at the beginning of the previous three years there has been a big fall in price and always after that there was a big and fast development in value.

Furthermore, I think there will be many phases that will lead to a rise and for me in the next four months the price will gradually rise to 30K and after that the value  may become volatile ( this may happen in two months) and at the end of this year it is certain the price will jump to between 40K and 60K.
