In recent years, on demand services have exploded, consumers want an easy method of booking services at a time and location convenient to them but also require a level of trust when booking. The Style app will be free and will allow mobile barbers to their services and accept bookings from customers who want to have their services in at a location convenient to them. A full list of planned app features will be published on our use case site. This will be 100% free to sign up and only a small transaction fee will be charge to enable future development and maintenance.
Some of the additional features include:

Reputation:
-   Verified reviews that can only be left when tied to a paid appointment
-   A visual portfolio of work, each image must be related to a paid appointment
Trust:
-   KYC performed on new providers to ensure the client always knows who they will be meeting
-   A two-way review system so that clients are also held accountable for their behaviour
-   Appointment funds are held in escrow until the appointment is confirmed as being completed
-   Resolution centre to help resolve any disputes

Continual Professional Development:

Style coin will launch a fund that will pay for additional CPD training for the service providers who advertise on our network. We will set up one master node to fund this. The address and balance will be made public on our website for transparency and the community will be given adequate notice of any withdrawal from this fund. How these funds are spent will also be put to a community vote in advanced of any withdrawal.

The KYC would only be required to advertise services, this is to ensure the service provider is trusted. Customers aren't required to undergo any KYC checks. I'm not familiar with similar projects in the industry, but if your willing to share them with me I'd like to take a look.

Although their a similar booking services for barbers, commission rates tend to be 10-20% depending on which country you look at. Using this model will also allow services to be advertised for free, with only a tiny transaction fee being charged.
