Bitstamp and KuCoin exchanges temporarily suspended the withdrawal of Ethereum because of the congestion and instability of the network. At the same time KuCoin recommended users to use NEO instead of Ethereum in order to have "permanent access to their funds".
In recent months, the Ethereum network has faced with the sharp increase in user activity. According etherscan.io, in October 2017 the number of transactions in the network does not exceed 519 thousand a day, however, on 4 January this indicator amounted to 1.34 million.
