I had a demo up with fake money that I showed him and let him play around with it, and according to his post, he understood it, saw that it works, and thus vouched for it.

If you have a demo, I think is better to post the link public so we can see/test what you want to sell.
One question: what happens when there are no players online (I understand that it is a PVP game)?  There are some bots which can simulate real games?

It is a PVP game yes, so it wouldn't be the best if there is only 1 player online, but the game only starts when there are two. Upon request (custom coding for extra fee) there can be bots which simulate real games however that would then require the owner to place a bankroll.
