"crypto mining"?! i am interested to know if they really mean mining of  cryptocurrencies in general or mainly bitcoin mining because the article seems to be talking about bitcoin alone and also this part: "Russians are mining in their garages. We want to do it on an industrial scale." is pretty strange. it seems like they didn't understand the fact that mining should be a decentralized thing that anybody can do in their homes not rely on some third party for it.

in any case it is good to hear other countries focusing more on mining.

well probably one of those that try to regulate digital assets. Or we don't know for sure how they regulate it in a decentralized manner.
Or what am I saying!? hehehe
I mean, we don't know exactly their way of doing it as of now.. but, nonetheless, this is good news!

Wooow.. this is big news, since mining is supposed to be an unregulated one, that anyone can do in their own backyard. Wonder how they'll go about with this one.
Although, it's always good to heat that government is now eyeing on crypto and recognizing digital assets.

mining going industrialized?!
This would mean going the unorthodox way, since mining is supposed to be decentralized.
On the other hand this will surely attract or scare away investors, solely dependent n whether or not they are okay with regulations in place while mining.
But great news! cryptocurrencies are now getting recognized in many parts of the world.

this is quite interesting, speaking about revolutionized mining of cryptos but going the extra mile.
Of course this is quite an excellent news as it mean cryptos are now recognized in many parts around the globe and regulations are starting to be in place.
But given that, decentralized platform going industrialized and all, is it not going to be unusual?
Just wondering what regulations will be in place.

Russians can do that for sure. After the successful attempt of sending the first man into the space they have the potential to launch crypto mining as industrialised protocol seems possible to me.  Grin

Not to forget they always want to be on the top of everything no matter what happens and in technology they are always ahead of everything. I think this will revolutionise the farming concept of the miners and thus will also bring the crypto employment to work within the industries. This will help grow the crypto economy in all possible ways. Hm, im feeling fresh air coming soon from Russian continent.

It surely is a development observed none anywhere in the globe!
Only Russians did it. They have put a dent in the decentralized market, and trying to make it into a regulated one.
Maybe they'll hire workers to do the job for an industrialized digital mining concept.

Prepare for the incoming difficulty bomb in case this happens. This will make mining less profitable for a common John Doe. And miners in countries with high electricity cost will likely be the first to be affected.

^ yes you are true. Here in the Philippines the electricity is very high. and we are the first affected whenever the price of crypto falls down. the best way to mine in the Philippines is to have a solar farm or any natural source of electricity. in addition, the weather here is tropical so you need to add cooling system for your rigs. unlike in china and russia the electricity is very cheap and the weather is cold.
