I'm using Armory right now, the latest version they have and it's buggy as heck and I can mostly get it to load up normally 5 out of 10 times. When I need quick access to my BTC, this isn't really a good option. It is also terribly slow, scanning transaction history takes 30 minutes most of the time and I'm pretty much tired of uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Has anyone used Armory before and now use Electrum and like it?

Never used armory and might never use it after reading your comments. But I have used electrum and it doesn't have this problem. The biggest problem electrum has is that sometimes new transactions don't show up. This is easily fixed by restarting the client which doesn't take long.

You should definitely try electrum. It won't take you long to get started and I am sure you'll like it. Play with it for a while and get comfortable with it before you do a complete switchover.

Yep. They have huge memory leaks in Armory right now, its pretty much only usable on 64bit systems and even there it needs like 5gig of RAM and takes forever to initialize. I installed Electrum, moved my coins from Armory wallet to the new Electrum wallet and everything was awesome again. Client is blazing fast, transactions are quickly recognized. So far so good.
