Can I use ASIC for mining altcoins?

Hi, is it possible to use ASICs for mining altcoins?
And what is the best ASIC available for that?

Yes, you can mine some alt coins with those ASIC powered miner. But, most of alt coin also want to shift their algorithm to be ASIC resistance, therefore you will not able to mine with it.
Some of them already optimized their algorithm to be more CPU and GPU friendly, like those Cryptonight algorithm and their variances.
