Search my user name and Bitcoin talk... Pick any thread from the last 5 years... Look at Google's cached results it will have this address in it.... Since I've had this address nearly my entire time on bitcointalk.
My main gripe in this situation is that I am guilty until proven innocent and none of you fools can do any homework yourself.
That's my address. That's a signed message from it. Period.
I realize scammers are a big problem here but come on guys... You make it so legit people don't even want to come on here.
I've checked the address in your signature (1K4BacKKdssA5RGzaFx3D4LC9HVXjE2NvS) was indeed published long ago, as shown on Google cache.
Now, please learn what a signed message is and the difference between bitcoin and PGP.
Post the message you signed with your BTC address along with the signature. Of course, the signature along is not enough.
It seems very suspicious that an old member doesn't know what a signed message is or how it works. It would seem you're playing fool and insulting others just to get rid of the verification. So I've added negative trust until you post the properly signed message.
You can sign this message, or something else including your name and the date (something else as long as you specify the exact message you signed)
I'm AndrewK @ bitcointalk and I still control my account.
