It is possible but needs a good strategy and really good luck. ICOs are really good option for that kind of target, I made $500 for $40 investment in an ICO and $400 from an other ICO with same amount ($40) investment. So it is possible if you have good rounds of luck.

Interesting strategy, but at today's price fluctuations it is difficult to apply this scheme in trading. Maybe it will work if you do long-term investment.

nothing is impossible now. but you need to be a good strategy.. its not hard to find x10 coin now... if you want to make it x10 or higher.. all you need to do is observe and choose wisely. and if you want to invest you need to choose a right ico or you need to think if the ico has a good future and a high chance to be successful. and the most important is to have a very very good luck.

Okay, I know this sounds impossible but it'll look like this:

 Put 50 bucks on a x5 coin on short term sell when the investment hits  250 USD 

 Long term HODL your 250 buck on a x100 coin (better if U find a newly dumped ICO)

 Take your 25,000 and enjoy!

This method does work since nothing on this cryptoworld investment is not possible as long we do put money but the big question here is that which coins you would invest? You wont even know if a coin would hit up x5 or x100 as you mentioned above. Choosing coins is the most crucial part of this investment world of cryptos. Seeking out information and making research isnt really simple at all.

I disagree. It was stated many times in this thread that what OP is talking about is not impossible. Yes, you have to do a lot of research and yes, even after you did the job it's not guaranteed that your investment will be profitable. But it is possible in case you can find several successful ICOs in a row. The likelihood of that happening is slim though, because even finding one successful ICO is a big piece of luck.
