I just noticed that the Chrome extension AdBlock is blocking the Blockchain Websocket. This kills my whole payment system. For the Chrome user, all they notice is their payment is never acknowledged. I did add a script to detect AdBlock but I'd rather not alarm a buyer already skittish about paying with Bitcoin. Has anyone come up with a fix for this?

you mean this AdBlock - Chrome Web Store. right?
AdBlock or any other  ad blockers is only  filters. need  filter rules/ lists  to know what to block.how? Adblock Compare any HTTP request with  a predefined list to determine what appears and what is obscured.
this is the main list : https://easylist.to/easylist/easylist.txt.It shows a limited number of sites linked to Bitcoin.
you can make your own filter easy If you do not like AdBlock.

Looks like you adblocker conflict with youur blockchain web why not change your adblocker i don't really safe if your adblocker is not wellknown i am always using kaspersky total security that support crypto and adding plugin in chrome that can block ads so if you wanted you can try download the kaspersky and install and go to chrome plugin and look for kaspersky in chrome plugin and add it then you can enable the anti banner.. This is more safe than using other adblocker.. And i think its also works in smart phone..
