The essence of the concept lies in the network's transactions of the corresponding cryptocurrency (we call it "gamescoin") which are confirmed by the software built into the gaming application.

The example for the demonstration and understanding of its work is simple. Try to imagine a video game (for example "OpenMarioCoiner"), where the reward is generated during the main game process and the application is engaged in confirming network's transactions. So, the only miner of such a cryptocurrency will be the participants receiving a reward for the corresponding gaming achievements itself.

By the way, there is an option to implement a learning game similar to https://codecombat.com but only with the possibility of receiving the reward in cryptocurrency for the game's achievements. It is possible to implement chess game with cryptocurrency reward and achievements as an options.

The application confirms transactions within the gaming achievements using them as evidence while building the blockchain. Gamers are allowed to receive cryptocurrency on their wallets connected to the application during the game process.

There will be bots to play the game more efficiently than humans. Then it becomes just another proof-of-work algorithm.

The good part is, if you can design a hard enough game, it may stimulate the development of AI.

This is one of the possible problems that will arise when implementing. Enough, for example, add elements of the quest to the game, to solve a similar problem. Or use any of the many protection options from bots.

This is constructive criticism, thank you.

The simplest path to realize the "proof of game" concept is to make a learning game. There is no need of servers. Gamers just solve the tasks. The correct answer is already known in advance (its hash is in the application' memory). The hash of the gamer's response must match the declared hash. The more difficult becomes the task in relation to the gamer's level (it increases with time), the greater becomes the probability of accepting the response of this participant as a confirmation in blockchain system. The more difficult tasks gamer solves, the faster his level grows, and accordingly decreases the probability of getting a reward (why is needed to reward a person for gaining knowledge that he already has?). On the other hand, the size of the reward should increase depending of the gamer's level. This will help to avoid problems with multiple registrations of the same users.
