Question for the community - has anyone here tracked historical auction prices for casascius coins? I'm curious how the premium changes over time.

If this has been done, would someone please provide a link to the resource?

If this hasn't been done (or if it needs updating), I'd be willing to offer a bounty (0.01 BTC) for someone to put this together. If there's any interest in contributing to the bounty, please +1 by adding what you'd be willing to contribute.

For clarity: I'll pay out the 0.01 BTC when the following conditions are met:

- An up to date spreadsheet has been created that incorporates sale information for all publicly available casascius sales listed on bitcointalk.org
- The spreadsheet should include the following information
(1) Detailed information on the coin (year/amount/version/additional notes on special features),
(2) Price paid
(3) Premium
(4) Date listed
(5) Date sold
(6) Link to the auciton post
(7) Seller name
(Cool Buyer name
(9) a column for any special notes

I reserve the right to add a few additional elements to the requirement spec for the next ~72hrs (through Jan 28, 2018 - 10am pacific time)

If you've got ideas for other things to track or want to contribute to the bounty - please jump in!

thx

Not that people won't be willing to help, but if you were to put that 0.01 BTC with an escrow, it would go a long way in increasing participation.

A new kind of collectible... The KryptoKaps are coming... Pre-orders have shipped! Thanks everyone!

I'm cool to do escrow - minerjones, would you be willing?

I do realize that the data is in the post history, but I would love to have someone else do the work of digging through it and pulling it all together into a resource that is easy to read and that would be publicly accessible to everyone in the forum.

and that takes real work. I'm happy to pay a bit to incentivize that work, but I don't really want to do the heavy lifting myself.

thx all.

The Stone the masons rejected was the cornerstone.

That would be very nice of you!  To publicly display this for us as a reference guide would be awesome and appreciated too! Thankyou!
